# Recurring invoices and retainers: each month's invoice, on its own

> What you charge every month invoices itself every month. You won't even notice.

## What a retainer is

A fixed amount you charge every month: maintenance, advice, support. The invoice is always the same; only the number and the date change.

## It creates itself

Mark an invoice “Repeat monthly” and, when you open the app, Nyrut creates the months that are missing: same day of the next month (the 31st becomes the month's last day), a new number, and the due date the same number of days after as the original.

## Ready to send

It comes out issued and ready. Sending is still up to you, one click away: an invoice doesn't go to a client without you deciding so.

## Expenses that repeat

It works for expenses too: your self-employed contribution, rent, software. They log themselves every month, with their VAT.

## If you're away for a while

When you come back, they catch up on their own. And to stop one, untick “Repeat monthly” on the latest.
