# AI receipt scanner: snap a receipt and the expense logs itself

## What it reads

Snap the receipt, or upload a supplier's PDF invoice, and AI fills in the expense: supplier, tax ID, date, description, subtotal, VAT and category.

## The subtotal, without VAT

If the receipt only shows the total, it works out the subtotal from the VAT rate on it. Exactly the sum nobody wants to do at a café table.

## What it can't see, it doesn't make up

The fields arrive filled in and you check them before saving. Whatever can't be read clearly is left blank: the AI won't invent a tax ID or a date.

## The receipt stays with its expense

The photo stays attached to the expense, in case the tax office asks. Goodbye, shoebox.

## Your data

Only the receipt you ask it to read is sent, to Anthropic, our AI provider, and it's never used to train models. If you don't use it, nothing leaves. There's a monthly cap per account, reset every month.
